Corrugated Plastic Yard Signs
The best bang for your buck. Though slightly more expensive than poster board, the larger size, easy assembly and durability is well worth the money. Corrugated plastic yard signs are known for their strength and easy assembly. Because it’s made of plastic, this yard sign is virtually indestructible in the elements. All yard signs are affected by the wind and the corrugated plastic sign’s wire frame is thinner than the sealed sign’s U wire. If you live in a very windy area, a sealed sign, though more expensive, may give you more desirable results. Corrugated yard signs are the most logical choice for road signs (2×4 or larger).
Sealed Yard Signs
This yard sign is our favorite. Most customers prefer the 16″ x 26″ size yard sign. This yard sign material is coated with polyethylene and is sealed on the sides. These lawn signs are best in high wind areas because of their thick 6 gauge wire frames. Of all the temporary signs on the market, sealed yard signs are arguably the easiest to install. They are a bit more expensive than other yard signs, but this yard sign will never leave you disappointed.
Poly Bag Yard Signs
If you need more than 1000 yard signs, the polybag sign is the best way to go. Large political campaigns need not look further. These yard signs are very easy to assemble, hold up well in the elements and are very inexpensive at high quantities. While the price breaks level out for the other yard sign types at the 1000 quantity, plastic bag signs are just getting started. The main drawbacks for these yard signs are that they are really only priced for large quantities (1,000 plus) and their production times are a bit longer (10-15 business days, plus shipping). Poster Board Yard Signs
Poster board yard signs are the least expensive signs and the “you get what you pay for” rule of thumb applies. These yard signs are good for a 30-day yard sign ambush. These lawn signs come scored for easy folding, but must be stapled over the U-shaped wires, making assembly more labor intensive. These yard signs can also be stapled to wooden stakes or hung easily on phone polls, if desired. Due to the extensive assembly required for these yard signs, only small quantities are recommended, unless you have ample volunteers. The weather resistance goes as far as the quality of the staple job. Many campaigns use poster board signs as hand-held rally signs.
